SiteGround Review From Our Experts

I have used SiteGround for more than a decade, and WPBeginner itself runs on SiteGround’s cloud platform. That gives me a behind-the-scenes look at how their servers handle real traffic, which no throwaway test site can match.

In July 2026, I tested SiteGround the same way I tested 14 other WordPress hosting companies, with an identical WordPress site on a custom domain, the same tools, and the same checklist.

This SiteGround review will show you the real numbers from my rigorous speed test using industry-standard benchmarking tools.

Quick Answer – Is SiteGround Worth It?

Yes, SiteGround is worth it if you want a host where a real human answers the phone at any hour. It scored 75 out of 100 on our WPBeginner Score, which places it 4th out of our 7 recommended hosts.

In our hosting speed test, SiteGround showed content in 608 ms, faster than the 659 ms median of the popular hosts we tested. It is also one of the few budget hosts we tested that includes 24/7 phone support on every plan.

Their StartUp plan costs $2.99 per month for the first year. It offers a balance of affordability, high-performance, and beginner-friendly tools to build your website.

You can see how SiteGround ranks against all the hosts I tested in our best WordPress hosting comparison, which uses the same data as this review.

About SiteGround

SiteGround started in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2004 and now hosts more than 3 million domains with a team of over 500 people. Its hosting runs on Google Cloud infrastructure with 11 data centers across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

SiteGround website

We host WPBeginner and several of our partner sites on SiteGround’s enterprise cloud platform. Even so, I did not let our own history with the company influence this review, and the verdict below comes from what my hosting speed test actually measured.

Pros and Cons of SiteGround

Pros

  • The most complete support of the budget hosts we tested – 24/7 chat, phone, and tickets on every plan
  • Runs on the Google Cloud platform with built-in caching and the Speed Optimizer plugin
  • Daily backups on every plan, with up to 30 copies kept – the deepest backup retention of the hosts we tested
  • Free domain for the first year, free CDN, free SSL, and email hosting on all plans
  • 608 ms LCP in our speed test, faster than the 659 ms median of the hosts we tested
  • Proven on real websites – WPBeginner and several of our partner sites run on SiteGround’s cloud platform

Cons

  • The steepest renewal jump of our budget picks – the $2.99 intro price rises to $17.99 per month after the first term
  • The entry StartUp plan covers 1 website, 10 GB of storage, and around 10,000 visits a month
  • Slower under sustained load than the fastest hosts we tested – a 129 ms P95, where Hostinger held 21 ms
  • Staging and Ultrafast PHP start on the GrowBig plan, not on StartUp

How I Tested SiteGround (Methodology)

I used the same testing protocol for every hosting company in our comparison. I set up an identical WordPress site with a default theme and test content, including images, on a custom domain.

Then I ran the same four tests – GTmetrix for speed and LCP, k6 for stress with 50 virtual users at the same time, a response-time test from 6 global regions, and 30 days of UptimeRobot monitoring.

Those four tests make up the performance side of the WPBeginner Score, which counts for 80% of the total. Each test carries a set weight, so no single lucky number can carry a host.

The other 20% of the score comes from value. For that part I look at what the plan really costs and gives you in return, including the intro price, the renewal price, how many sites and how much storage you get, the plan limits, and the quality of support.

SiteGround’s 75 is an honest number. It reflects good speed and response results, a weaker number under sustained load, and a value grade that the renewal price holds down.

The full methodology, the exact weights, and every host’s raw numbers are in our best WordPress hosting guide.

SiteGround Performance Test Results

Below you can find my full SiteGround speed test results.

Speed Test – 608 ms LCP

Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures how quickly the main content of a page appears. It is the speed number Google’s Core Web Vitals care about most.

My SiteGround test site showed an LCP of 608 ms, and the full page loaded in 1.1 seconds.

SiteGround speed test result showing an LCP of 608 ms

That is a strong result for a shared plan. The median LCP of the popular hosts I tested was 659 ms, so SiteGround came in ahead of the pack.

The fastest hosting company in our tests, Levamo, loaded in 358 ms. So SiteGround is not the speed champion, but it is comfortably in the faster half of our data.

Server Response Time – 369 ms Global Average

Speed test tools load the whole page with images included, but that’s only one part of the performance. To see raw server speed, I also measured time to first byte (TTFB) from data centers in 6 regions around the world.

SiteGround averaged 369 ms across the 6 regions.

Global response time test for SiteGround

Response times were good in North America and Europe. South America and Japan were slightly slower, which is normal when the test site sits far from those regions.

If your audience is global, then turn on SiteGround’s included CDN. It serves your content from locations closer to your visitors and closes most of that gap.

Stress Test – 129 ms P95 With 50 Virtual Users

To see how a host behaves under a traffic spike, I sent 50 virtual users to the test site with k6 by Grafana Labs and recorded the P95 response time.

SiteGround’s response time fluctuated a bit during the test, but it did not fail a single request and held a P95 response time of 129 ms.

SiteGround stress test showing a P95 response time of 129 ms

A 129 ms P95 means the site stayed fast for visitors even during the spike, and zero failed requests is the result that matters most for a real site.

At the same time, the fastest hosts we tested held lower numbers under the same load, and Hostinger recorded a 21 ms P95. If sustained heavy traffic is your main concern, the comparison table below shows how the similarly priced hosts stack up.

Uptime – 99.96% Over 30 Days

I monitored the SiteGround test site with UptimeRobot, checking every 5 minutes. Over the 30-day window, it recorded 99.96% uptime with one incident of 15 minutes.

Uptime monitoring for SiteGround

Most hosting companies promise 99.9% uptime, and SiteGround stayed above that promise in our window. One 15-minute issue in a month is a small miss, but I would rather show you the exact number than round it up.

Our own longer track record backs this up. WPBeginner has run on SiteGround’s cloud platform for years, and reliability has never been the reason we thought about leaving.

How SiteGround Compares to Other Hosts We Tested

The speed test numbers on their own do not give you the full picture. Here is how SiteGround performed compared to other similarly priced hosts from our comparison, all tested with the identical setup.

HostLCPGlobal responseUptimeIntro / renewalWPBeginner Score
SiteGround608 ms369 ms99.96%$2.99 / $17.9975 / 100
Hostinger659 ms227 ms100%$2.69 / $10.9988 / 100
Bluehost933 ms599 ms100%$2.99 / $9.9969 / 100
DreamHost986 ms658 ms100%$1.99 / $7.9964 / 100

The WPBeginner Score weighs performance at 80% and value at 20%. SiteGround’s 75 reflects exactly what you see above. It beats Bluehost and DreamHost on every speed metric, while its renewal price and entry limits keep the value side of the score down.

SiteGround’s Infrastructure and Technology

Most other SiteGround reviews skip what’s under the hood of their platform, and I believe it’s worth highlighting.

Google Cloud platform – SiteGround runs on the Google Cloud network with distributed SSD storage. That is the same class of infrastructure many expensive managed hosts use, and it is part of why our speed numbers came in ahead of the median.

Server stack – each account runs in its own Linux container with a mix of Apache and NGINX on top, so a problem on one account stays isolated from everyone else. An in-house system checks server status every half second, and human engineers watch the infrastructure around the clock.

Caching – every plan gets all three levels of SiteGround’s SuperCacher. It caches static files and dynamic pages out of the box, and you can switch on Memcached for database queries.

Their free Speed Optimizer plugin controls caching, image optimization, and lazy loading inside WordPress. The servers also run Brotli compression, which produces files up to 20% smaller than gzip.

PHP and databases – SiteGround manages your PHP version for you and updates it automatically once a new release is stable. Its custom MySQL setup is tuned for busy sites, and GrowBig and higher add SiteGround’s Ultrafast PHP, which they say cuts time to first byte by up to 30%.

Data centers – SiteGround has 11 data centers across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and you choose your location during signup. I recommend picking the one closest to your audience.

CDN and security – SiteGround’s in-house CDN caches your content on more than 170 edge locations, and every plan includes free SSL, a custom web application firewall, and AI anti-bot protection. Their free Security Optimizer plugin adds login protection and malware scanning.

Backups – SiteGround backs up your site daily, keeps up to 30 copies, and stores them off-site across multiple data centers. That is the deepest backup retention of the hosts we tested, and it comes on every plan.

AI tools – every account includes SiteGround AI Studio with 20,000 free monthly tokens, plus a built-in AI agent that can update content, manage plugins, and make bulk changes on your WordPress site from a chat.

SiteGround Hosting Plans and Pricing

SiteGround offers shared, managed WordPress, WooCommerce, and cloud hosting. For most readers of this review, the shared WordPress plans are the relevant ones.

SiteGround pricing plans
  • StartUp – 1 website, 10 GB storage, and capacity for around 10,000 visits a month. $2.99 per month for the first 12-month term with our link, renews at $17.99 per month. You still get the free domain, daily backups, the CDN, and email hosting even on this tier.
  • GrowBig – unlimited websites, 50 GB storage, and capacity for around 100,000 visits a month. Starts at $4.99 per month, renews at $29.99. This tier adds staging, on-demand backups, and SiteGround’s Ultrafast PHP setup.
  • GoGeek – unlimited websites, 100 GB storage, and capacity for around 400,000 visits a month. Starts at $7.99 per month, renews at $44.99. It adds Git integration, white-label tools for client work, more server resources, and priority support.

SiteGround treats those visit numbers as a reference point rather than a hard limit. The real constraint at each tier is server resources. StartUp allows 200,000 files (inodes), GrowBig 400,000, and GoGeek 600,000, with more CPU allowance at each step up.

All plans include a free domain for the first year, free SSL, SiteGround’s CDN, email hosting, daily backups, and the custom Site Tools control panel. All plans also come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

My honest advice is to treat GrowBig as the real SiteGround plan, and StartUp as a trial of the platform. The staging tool and Ultrafast PHP on GrowBig are the features you will miss first as your site grows.

Free and Paid Hosting Addons

SiteGround’s headline price is honest, but a few extras start free and later become paid. Knowing these up front will save you surprise charges.

  • Free domain – free for the first year on .com, .us, .org, and .net registrations, then it renews at the standard domain rate. If you cancel within the 30-day guarantee window, the domain registration itself is non-refundable. This is fairly standard practice across all shared hosts that offer a free domain.
  • Domain privacy – free for the first year on supported domain extensions, then it renews at an extra yearly cost. Again, most shared hosts handle privacy the same way.
  • Renewal prices – all three plans renew well above the intro price ($17.99, $29.99, and $44.99 per month). Renewal jumps are common across the shared hosting industry, so sign up for a longer term to lock the intro rate for longer.
  • StartUp plan caps – the entry plan limits your account to 200,000 files, where GrowBig allows 400,000 and GoGeek 600,000. Staging and Ultrafast PHP also start on GrowBig, so plan for that tier if you run anything image-heavy.
  • Email limits – email accounts are unlimited, but they share up to 10 GB of storage taken from your plan’s disk space, and sending caps at 400 emails per hour on StartUp and GrowBig (800 on GoGeek). A newsletter with real volume belongs on a dedicated email service anyway.
  • Refund rules – the 30-day money-back guarantee covers the shared hosting plans but not domain registrations.

SiteGround Support

This is where SiteGround really stands out. Every plan includes 24/7 support from real humans through live chat, phone, and tickets, which is the most complete support lineup of the budget hosts we tested.

Most hosts at this price stick to chat only. Being able to call a real person at 3 am is the reason I suggest SiteGround to anyone who gets nervous handling tech on their own.

SiteGround AI support assistant

There is also an AI-powered assistant inside the Site Tools dashboard that resolves common questions instantly, plus hundreds of well-organized tutorials and video walkthroughs. One honest note – SiteGround does not offer support over email, so you will go through chat, phone, or tickets.

My support opinion here comes from years of real use, not a test ticket. WPBeginner and several of our partner sites run on SiteGround’s cloud platform, and their technical team has been rock-solid whenever we needed help at scale.

Who Should Use SiteGround and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Choose SiteGround if you want hosting with a real safety net. The 24/7 phone, chat, and ticket support on every plan, the Google Cloud platform, and daily backups with 30 kept copies make it the pick for a business site where you want expert help one call away.

Look elsewhere if the long-term price is your deciding factor, since Hostinger renews at $10.99 per month against SiteGround’s $17.99. The same goes if you want the simplest possible first-site start (Bluehost installs WordPress for you at signup), or you run a high-traffic eCommerce site that needs top performance under load, where Levamo led our tests (see our full hosting comparison).

Final Verdict – Is SiteGround the Right Choice for You?

SiteGround is perfect for site owners who want premium managed-style hosting with the most complete support at a budget entry price. It is the host we trust with WPBeginner itself, and it has earned that trust over more than a decade of use.

My verdict – if you want a host where help is one call away, visit SiteGround and start on the StartUp plan, then move to GrowBig as your site grows. If price or raw speed under load is your deciding factor, our best WordPress hosting comparison shows which host won each category on the same tests.

FAQs About SiteGround

1. What are the disadvantages of SiteGround?

Based on our tests, the main ones are the renewal price (the $2.99 intro rises to $17.99 per month after the first term), the entry plan limits (1 website, 10 GB storage, and around 10,000 visits a month), and a slower result under sustained load than the fastest hosts we tested (129 ms P95). Staging and Ultrafast PHP also start on the GrowBig plan rather than on StartUp.

2. Is SiteGround worth the renewal price?

It depends on what you value. At renewal, StartUp costs more than Bluehost ($9.99) or Hostinger ($10.99), and what you get for the difference is the Google Cloud platform, daily backups with 30 kept copies, and phone support on every plan.

I believe that trade is worth it for a business site that wants a human on call. If your goal is the lowest long-term bill, then pick a longer initial term to delay the renewal, or choose a cheaper host.

3. Is SiteGround better than Bluehost?

On our identical July 2026 tests, SiteGround was faster than Bluehost on every metric. It showed content in 608 ms against Bluehost’s 933 ms, and its global response time was 369 ms against 599 ms.

Bluehost counters with a cheaper renewal ($9.99 against $17.99 per month) and 10 websites on its entry plan, where SiteGround gives you one. Our SiteGround vs Bluehost comparison goes deeper.

4. Is SiteGround better than Hostinger?

It depends on your priority. SiteGround showed content faster in our speed test (608 ms against Hostinger’s 659 ms) and is the only one of the two with phone support.

Hostinger held up better under sustained load (a 21 ms P95 against SiteGround’s 129 ms), renews cheaper at $10.99 per month, and gives you 3 websites on its entry plan. That mix is why Hostinger scored 88 on our WPBeginner Score against SiteGround’s 75.

5. Can SiteGround handle high traffic?

In our stress test with 50 concurrent users, SiteGround held a 129 ms P95 response time with zero failed requests. That is a solid result, though slower than the fastest hosts we tested under the same load.

The StartUp plan is rated for around 10,000 visits a month, so a growing site should plan on GrowBig or GoGeek. For even bigger sites, SiteGround’s cloud platform is the proven step up, and it is what WPBeginner itself runs on.

6. Does SiteGround offer a free domain name?

Yes, SiteGround currently includes a free domain name for the first year with all of its hosting plans. You can register a .com, .us, .org, or .net domain at no extra cost during signup, and it renews at the standard rate after year one.

7. Where are SiteGround’s servers located?

SiteGround has 11 data centers on multiple continents, including the United States, Europe (Madrid, London, Frankfurt, Paris, and Eemshaven), Singapore, and Sydney. You choose a server location close to your audience when signing up, and the hosting runs on Google Cloud infrastructure.

8. Does SiteGround use cPanel?

No, SiteGround no longer offers cPanel and instead built its own control panel called Site Tools. In my experience it is faster and easier to use than cPanel, and it keeps day-to-day tasks like email, SSL, and backups in one place.

9. Which SiteGround plan should I get?

We recommend starting with their StartUp plan if you run one small site, and moving to GrowBig when you need staging, more storage, or more than one website. Upgrading later takes a few clicks, so there is no reason to overbuy on day one.

  1. I am going to host my site on SG and that is after i checked out almost all the other major hosts. The price-value is the most competitive.

  2. What’s more to add?

I had Hostgator and Bluehost etc before finding SiteGround. They give me some hope for a better world, super awesome support and a packed bag of host candy. ;)

    cheers/Stephan

  3. WOW!

I just registered a new domain and joined SiteGround yesterday. As a novice with WordPress, I was a little intimidated and needed help right out of the gate. I chatted with a wonderful help desk representative (who actually had a sense of humor!) and helped me solve the problem immediately without making me feel stupid for needed to ask simple questions. My wait time in the chat window was less than 20 seconds.

That would have been enough to make me a happy, but 30 minutes later I got a follow-up phone call from a Site Ground representative who introduced himself and said he had noticed that I was a new customer who had already contacted the site for help and wanted to reassure me that if I needed help at any time — no matter how often or for any matter — they would always be there to help me.

I’m blown away. After only a day, I’m ready to recommend SiteGround to everyone I know who needs a web host.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave reviews about SiteGround. I read dozens of comments before choosing my web host and I’m glad I listened to you!

  4. I was in desperate need of a new hosting company for a 30-60k site that went down on another platform. siteground staff was alway extremely helpfull and their direct line was available whenever I needed it.
My site was up and running with NO technical intervention from my part within 14 hours after it went down.
I am very gratefull and hope to be a long term client from here on.

    Thank you

  5. Siteground are amazing. I moved to them from Bluehost and have never looked back. Not only are their packages great value for Wordpress. but their customer service is second to none. On my old hosting I waited hours for any kind of response. With Siteground, I get immediate webchat with real people who are very friendly and helpful. Pretty much all of my support tickets are answered and resolved within about 15 minutes. I have seriously never experienced such incredible levels of customer service.

  6. I just switched to SiteGround this evening, and I’m frankly impressed by their amazing welcome, and a very quick, sympathic and efficient support immediately. I hope this will be as powerful with their servers and hosting, I guess there is no doubt about it ! ;)
I will come back to comment after a few days of services…

  7. I love these guys, they make my work a lot easier. I do web design for clients and also have my own website and I’m starting to use SiteGround exclusively because they’re my favorite. I pretty much never leave reviews unless i’m very happy or pissed but I couldn’t be more happy with SiteGround. I’m always amazed by the fact that when I call, they answer immediately (let’s be honest, very few places do that), if i need tech help, they always have someone online to handle it. The prices are cheaper, the service is better, and they have a nice set of tools and help available. All of that stuff is great but what made me take the time to write a review is the service. I need something, they answer and its handled immediately, done deal. That’s impressive and thus warrants a nice review. thanks

  8. Siteground has great products por less. Excelentet customer service that answers you ticket in less thant 10 minutes. I couldn’t be happier with the them. My sites were under attack and they helped me to overcome the attack and pinpoint where and how to fix the holes in my site that allowed the attack. My site was up an running within minutes, tanks to the support of siteground. I recommend it if you are looking for great and fast support, excelente hosting and services and no least great pricing. Thank you Siteground.

  9. Their service is absolutely amazing. I did a lot of research on hosting companies and I am truly grateful to have found siteground. I would have never gotten through building this website without their great support and chat system. I have zero web design knowledge and zero knowledge on the language of php they helped me so much. Keep up the good work!

  10. The support is just amazing, live chat is fast and reliable. I would recommend Siteground to everyone who like fast support and services

  11. I’m using Cloud VPS now for more than 1 month, and i’m very pleased about the fast and professional support of siteground team members. They not only provide good technical support, but also today supported me in working out the best strategy to transfer multiple site(s) from another shared hosting provider to siteground Cloud VPS. They take the time needed, are to the point and you can rely on their experience. Keep up with this good support !

  12. For personal use it will be good, but business pls dont use Siteground.
still the problem is not solved. As startup we thought Siteground will help us to grow but for it really make our entire system down for 2 days and still continuing. Dont know when they are going to solve this :( .

  13. Perfect support. Excellent. We are very happy and the site is so fast. Ans so fffffaaaaaassst support. :)

  14. We swapped over all our hosting and email to Siteground a couple of years ago and I can honestly say they are fantastic. The first time I contacted them was at 9.30pm UK time and within minutes, they had looked into the problem and sorted it out. Again, today, within seconds someone was there to help, with my problem solved within 10 minutes. If only all customer service experiences were so good!!!!!

  15. Exceptional service, always available for help, polite, knowledgeable, and I’m happy I found SiteGround ~ ;->)

  16. Great place to do business with, (and I am not even a customer yet) I am looking forward to being part of them, I’ve chatted with them several time and they have been GREAT. very knowable and their patience level is awesome…

  17. Time and time again – doesn’t matter which rep I speak to, these guys are seriously on their customer service game.

16 chats before you in the queue? BAM! Still answered in 30 seconds.
Tricky question that first line can’t resolve (which is rare), support ticket created BAM! Replied to within 15-20 minutes.

If decent customer service is one of your criteria for finding a host, take a good hard look at SiteGround.

  18. 1st technical help ticket submitted at 10 p.m. on a Sunday night on a holiday weekend. Response within 5 minutes with fix and also HOW the fix was resolved. Are you kidding me?!?! I thought I’d have to wait at least until the next business day to get any kind of response. Wow, I’m impressed!

  19. I have just started hosting my site with SiteGround and I am a very happy customer so far.
The support team is excellent, friendly, dedicated and very, very, patient and kind.
    The prices are alright too.

  20. Every time I need help or advise they astound me how quick, freindly, professional and helpful they are. Definitely the best providers I have dealt with to date :)

  21. I moved my hosting to Siteround a little over a year ago now and my life just became easier after that. So far I still have to run into trouble …. knock on wood..
The small things for which I needed their support have all been solved within 30 minutes. Needed them today to transfer a domain from Godaddy to SG which usually can be done via website but Godaddy (once again) made a mess …. SG solved the problem in a chat that lasted less than 9 minutes …

  22. Asked a lot of question, chat for almost an hour to get whatever info i need, SiteGround has the best Support Team! thank you guys! keep up the good work

  23. Not that good.

My first problem with siteground is about the cost, the fist year they offers you a good price but when you are going to renew they charge you the regular price that is on small print when you start, siteground regular price is very high for the service that they give. You can get more from other without being cheated after the first year. Siteground is the only hosting company that rise the price to the double after a year and charge it automatically.

Second, I bought a VPS cloud hosting, the tech support was not the best, they made a lot of mistakes with the migration and the configuration of the server and as a result we had complete days out of the air.

  24. I just switched to SiteGround and have no idea about moving the website. So far i have had almost instantaneous Chat support that really has been helpful.

  25. I am now nearly 3 years with Siteground. I used other hosting services before for my clients.
I have around 50 Reseller accounts, some dedicated servers and some other accounts.

Siteground is by far the best in term of support / response time and server up time. Never in the past years have I been called by a client that their site is down which used to happen frequently with other providers.

My only complain is the more or less non existing love for resellers.
Yes they have the reseller accounts but those are quite limited. You can’t sell a GoGeek or Dedicated Server to your customer as you can’t make any money on it. I don’t understand that. Why should I sell it if I can’t make money?

We are an IT Outsource company, so we want to keep all accounts under our reseller account in order to manage them for our clients. Thus an affiliate program doesn’t work for us.
That’s a shame. I would love to sell more accounts to my clients but I need to make money.

  26. Do not host with siteground.com. I setup a small affiliate website to promote Aliexpress products. It started to get 100 visitors a day and I received an email saying that I was using to much bandwidth and now my website just displays a 503 – Service unavailable message.

If you have a website that gets no traffic it might be ok but otherwise don’t waste your time and money.

    • Hi Brad, we are sorry to hear about your experience with our service. 100 visits a day is indeed a very low number, there must be another reason for the errors received. We wll be glad to review your case in detail and assist you in resolving it. If you send us more details at news [at] siteground.com, we will make sure to help you further.

The visits outlined on the plans details page (10k monthly visits on StartUp, 25k on GrowBig, 100k on GoGeek) are not strictly set limits. They are only approximate values so that people can get an idea when choosing a plan and decide which one will best suit their needs. A well optimized website can have much more visits than the listed here.

Your website might have been limited due using too much other resources. We’re assuming since you mention you had a small website, that your hosting plan was a shared one – as you know, that means you share the server resources with other clients. So naturally when our system detects that you are using too many resources, compared to the other users on the server, and endanger the performance of all websites on the server, it sends alerts out to you. Our team is always available and helps customers with additional information about the resource with excessive usage and provides tips how to resolve the issue, or suggests a plan that is more suitable.

  27. Switching to SiteGround has been relatively smooth. The problems I’ve had have been resolved in minutes with great explanations from their team.

I really appreciate the easy SSL installation and support of tools like Git and wp-cli, but I would like to be able to configure their SG-Git a bit more (not have my entire WP install under version control). The GUI and automation tools are a breeze to use, though, and make setup quick and easy.

My site is faster and more secure now that I’ve moved to SiteGround, and I expect I’ll be using them for quite some time.

  28. After an in depth chat about technical details, siteground is far better than my current host. Siteground is well known in the market for years and years and this gives you the trust that you can rely on them since you are in good hands.

    Pre-sales customer service was excellent.

  29. I like everything about siteGround. The short contact with them, I already fell in love with their products and technology. I know for sure I will be spending more time to learn more about them.

The support system and people who worked in are really something else, they are so patient and professional, I think they are from the Mars. I kept thinking this will be the time they all going to jump on and screaming at me and saying something very nasty. They haven’t yet, and I think they will not. because they are a selected group.

  30. Site Ground has always been great, helping me as I needed it. I’m in no way an expert, but you would not know it for the supporting staff is so fine.

  31. I cannot say enough about how amazing this company is. In all my life, I have never experienced such reliable, prompt and quality customer support. I never leave reviews like this and I felt compelled to after SiteGround support went above and beyond to take care of me. They are simply the best in the biz.

  32. Got a very good help before buying the hosting. Will surely buy new startup hosting plan soon. Thanks!

  33. So impressed. They are so supportive. Every query from me will be response so quick.

  34. Just started with SiteGround on the resellers side and the support has been awesome on the site transfers so far. Extremely fast response time, super fast fixes to any issue I have had a long the way transferring sites over. So far… SiteGround ROCKS!

  35. Every time a problem arises and I am trying to solve it myself the red slowly rises in my eyes, I finally submit a support ticket to the guys and girls of Siteground.
And EVERY time the problem is solved quickly, professionally, and with good advice.
They appear to be seeing what I haven’t even thought about.

Have been a Siteground member for over 13 years now (with several sites) and have nothing but praise for the team.

(I also realise now that I have made stupid mistakes myself for that long… :) )

Thanks Siteground, for having my back!

  36. Once again I have had a happy experience at Site Ground…Leonid was able to help me with some code. I am a non-techy so appreciate beign able to get mys site doing great things as there is a team who have all the tech skills. Thank you.

  37. SiteGround just makes life incredibly easy. I truly love them. I just upgraded to the GoGeek plan and I am thrilled about the increased speed.

  38. Efficient and reliable service. A staff with patience on dealing with all my tech issues. SG is Super!

  39. Very patient and not patronizing or belittling even though I am sure I am a computer moron. My chat host was very helpful and made it all very simple! Would definitely recommend!

  40. A Perfect Launch!

I just opened an account with Siteground after a long and hard search for a webhost with authentication and forum capabilities. I found it all under one roof for a greatly affordable rate. And the most important thing was, the Live Chat helper, basically held my hand and walked me through it without any HolierThanThou Techie vibe which was surprising and welcome. So this is what good service feels like! Highly recommended indeed!!

  41. those guys are awesome.
Forgot about all the competition, really professional they solves your issues in minutes, fast responses

  42. First of all i want to say thanks to wpbeginner because i know about the siteground hosting From wpbeginner after that i use Wbeg coupon and buy siteground go big plan for 3 years. There is no words to say about siteground hosting service they provide wonderful hosting service for their clients and i love their inbuild cache feature it helped improve my website and blog speed. customer service is really fantastic they solve my issues within in a min.
Siteground hosting is highly recommended for shopkeepers, developers and business teams.

  43. Excellent response today from SiteGround after I’d been doing some testing with Azure Active Directory and managed to trigger a “brute force attack” alert and get my IP address blocked. They not only cleared the block almost instantly, but included the error message from the log which is very useful. Great service!

  44. Before someone saying that most are Shared Hosting, so it doesn’t equal their “position”, I might add that thru the three years already I have been with SiteGround, I have/had Shared, VPS and Dedicated Server.

I have been on “top-notch” hosting servers throughout the years, from Site5, BlueHost, SingleHop, The Planet, MediaTemple, and others to finally decide to switch to SiteGround. I must add that SiteGround managed to keep my sites running for years when others barely lasted three months. It is safe to host with them, fast deployment if you consider that they do invest in keeping their server up-to-date, besides adding new technologies such as HHVM most recently, and Staging, which allows you to avoid “Cowboy Coding” while keeping both a production/development instance running. This besides their cache features and so on.

    Pros:
SiteGround is indeed cheaper than others, and more resourceful. You pay a small fee for a tremendous amount of in-house build set of features that will only benefit your site(s). Support is terrifically fast, and they know what they are doing; therefore you can always rely on them and even ask their opinion regarding matters that go out of your scope.

    Cons:
I miss the fact their forum is nowhere to be found, and while commenting on their blog, there’s no option to keep track of replies to our comments. Somehow the “interactive” end between the company and the customers, when it comes to being notified, or even exchange opinions with other clients, went a bit missing.

My rate would be: 5 stars.

  45. SO FAR, SO GOOD

I have just opened a GrowBig account with Siteground because of the lack of support and resources from my current host. I am not used to cPanel and so have been in contact with support several times. Each time they have been very helpful. Highly recommended!!
